Shafaq News/ A local source reported on Friday that Makhmour camp near Erbil was subjected to Turkish bombing.
The source told Shafaq News Agency, "The bombing was carried out by a Turkish drone and targeted a location inside the camp where supporters of the Kurdistan Workers Party live."
He added, "The bombing site is close to the site that was bombed last week, and the damage is not yet known."
The refugee camp in Makhmour district is subjected to Turkish air strikes from time to time. The camp includes hundreds of Kurdish families who were displaced from Turkey many years ago. Ankara says that the Kurdistan Workers' Party is using the camp as a launching pad for training its fighters and launching attacks inside Turkish territory.
For its part, security sources in Nineveh say that the Iraqi government and security forces have not had control over the camp for years, and that any party affiliated with the Iraqi government cannot enter the camp even while it is under Turkish bombing.
