    Baghdad today - Baghdad
With the increasing intensity of the battles in the occupied Palestinian territories, the mounting number of martyrs, the besieging of Gaza, cutting off water, electricity, and food from it, and the support of the Arab countries and their standing by Palestine to eliminate the Zionist occupation, Iraqi army officers presented scenarios about the expected picture of the battle of Gaza in its war against the Israeli occupation, and the ground incursion. Expected Israeli forces to enter the Gaza Strip.
    Palestine "slaps" Israel forcefully
Faisal Ahmed, a former officer in the Iraqi army, told Baghdad Today, “The events of last Saturday indicate that we are facing an elite force with a high degree of competence that has succeeded in optimally exploiting all modest capabilities in directing a blow to the Israeli army.”
He added, "Whoever carried out this act inevitably created scenarios regarding a devastating ground invasion and advanced current bombardment," stressing that "Israel feels humiliated for the first time since its founding 70 years ago in a battle that it had never imagined. Therefore, it will be pushed to invade Gaza, and here we will be facing an Arab Lingrad in a sense." "The word and the losses will be very harsh."
Ahmed pointed out that "if the resistance forces are shocked in the face of the Israeli invasion, it will be a moral and military final end, and America may be dragged into entering to rescue Tel Aviv, and here it will be a defining moment in the future of the entire Middle East because the explosion will be greater."
    A "hard" battle for Israel
As for Bahaa Al-Shammari, who is also a former officer, he also confirmed that “in Gaza there is a city below the city (referring to the tunnels), and it is an axis that cannot be predicted and could be the most important card in the Gaza battle if it takes place at any moment,” pointing out that “there is "Thousands are ready to die in the face of Israeli army columns."
He continued, "Israel, and America before it, realizes that entering Gaza means falling into a big trap that may lead to dire consequences, because fighting in a city is not an easy matter in light of the flexibility of the resistance movement under the tunnels, not to mention international pressure through the presence of two million civilians in the midst of the hell."
Gaza is turning into an Arab "Lingrad".
While officer Thamer Khalil said, “America will press to stop the Gaza battle because it knows that Israel will not achieve any victory in the face of a resistance that is ready to fight until the end,” pointing out that “the bombing can demolish a building and kill innocents, but it cannot give an opportunity to hold the ground except through convoys.” Direct land, and here lies the difficulty.”
He continued, "The statement that Gaza will turn into an Arab Lingrad is an analogy to what happened in the most important and famous battles of World War II. It is true because Israel cannot fight a direct war for two or three months with life and factories stopping. This is the secret of the weakness of the most important infrastructure in Tel Aviv."
    What's the story of Leningrad?
Leningrad (now called Saint Petersburg) is a Russian city located east of the Gulf of Finland on the Baltic Sea. It is the second largest city in Russia and a former capital of Tsarist Russia for more than two hundred years.
The city was subjected to the famous Siege of Leningrad, a failed military operation by Axis powers to seize the city during World War II.
The siege lasted from September 9, 1941, until January 18, 1943, when the Soviets were able to open a land crossing into the city. The siege was completely lifted on January 27, 1944, that is, 872 days after the start of the siege.
The city was the ideological target of Operation Barbarossa, as well as the cradle of the communist revolution. The deaths were ignored on both sides. The end of the siege was one of the turning points in the course of World War II in favor of the Allies and the beginning of the end for the Axis armies, which two years earlier were on the outskirts of the Soviet capital, Moscow. The German Sixth Army was eliminated in Stalingrad and began marching towards Berlin.

Hamas and other Palestinian factions in Gaza launched Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” on Saturday morning, in response to the continuing attacks by Israeli forces and settlers against the Palestinian people, their property, and their sanctities. They carried out a major attack on land, sea, and air, and fought a street war with the Israeli army.
The Israeli forces began Operation Iron Swords and launched intensive raids on several areas in the Gaza Strip, which is inhabited by more than two million Palestinians who suffer from deteriorating living conditions as a result of the Israeli siege.
The continuous raids since Saturday resulted in massive destruction in residential areas, significant loss of life, and a mass exodus from the Gaza Strip.
