    Information/Baghdad..
Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed, on Saturday, that there is no way to achieve security and stability and end violence in Gaza except by removing the Israeli occupation, indicating that Iraq strongly rejects attempts to empty the Gaza Strip of its people.
Al-Sudani said during his speech before the 2023 Cairo Peace Summit dedicated to discussing developments in the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, followed by Al-Maalouma: “The Palestinian people are being subjected to a process of genocide by targeting civilians in residential complexes, churches and hospitals.”
He added, "What is happening is a full-fledged war crime, which began with the killing of defenseless people and the imposition of a stifling siege on what remains of them alive. It is difficult to depict in words what is happening daily of atrocities, massacres, and the burial of innocents under the rubble of their homes on the land of their first displacement during the days of the Nakba in 1948." .
He stressed that “Gaza today constitutes a new test for the world order, which has failed several times in implementing the values of humanity, justice and freedom it calls for, and Palestine is a living witness to this failure,” adding that “the time has come to put an end to this hateful occupation, and stop the suffering of the Palestinian people.” ".
The Prime Minister continued, "Injustice does not produce sustainable peace, and there is no way to achieve security and end violence except by removing its causes, most notably the occupation and policies of racial discrimination, and that the Zionist entity continues to violate laws, including the laws of war, and that this will affect international security and the spread of the conflict regionally." “It threatens energy supplies to global markets, multiplies global economic crises, and opens the door to deeper and broader conflicts.”
He stated that "the occupation continues to violate the Third Geneva Convention regarding Prisoners of War, and the Fourth Convention that provides protection for civilians in the occupied territories," indicating that "the Zionist entity continues to violate the International Covenant on Civil Rights and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and more than 78 Security Council resolutions related to the issue." "Palestinian."
He pointed out that "if international resolutions had been respected, and international bodies had assumed their responsibilities, the Palestinian issue would not have reached these tragic conditions. Iraq strongly rejects attempts to empty the Gaza Strip of its people, and there is no room to talk about resettlement, or creating refugee camps, and there is no place for the Palestinians except their land." ".
Al-Sudani stressed “the necessity of an immediate ceasefire, opening the border crossings and allowing the entry of humanitarian aid and relief materials, and then working to ensure a safe and comprehensive exchange of prisoners and detainees,” stressing that “efforts must be made to completely lift the siege on the Gaza Strip to ensure that the tragedy is not repeated.” ".
Al-Sudani called for “establishing a fund to support and reconstruct the Gaza Strip, and Iraq will not delay in providing any possible assistance,” stressing that “the dissolution of the Palestinian issue and the attempt to bury it must be stopped, and no one has the right to reconcile, compromise, or donate on behalf of the Palestinian people, as the Palestinians are the owners of Land and issue.
