    Today, Monday, the Integrity Commission monitored violations in the referral of service projects at a cost of 51 billion dinars in Al-Muthanna Governorate.
    The Authority stated in a statement, “The Authority’s Investigations Department carried out seizures of violations in the referral of four projects in Muthanna Governorate, noting that their cost amounted to more than (51000000000) billion dinars.” 
    She pointed out that “the work team of the Muthanna Governorate Investigation Office, which moved to the general and local administration in the governorate, seized the priorities of four service projects in the government contracts department, indicating that those projects were referred to two local contracting companies at a total cost amounting to (51202412000) billion dinars.” .
    She explained that “the analysis and referral committees and the central committee for review and approval did not exercise the necessary care when referring the tender for the project of paving and developing the streets of the city of Rumaitha at a cost of (35948900000) billion dinars, in addition to not verifying that the two companies own an asphalt plant and equipment for implementing the asphalt layers, in addition to providing information.” "Misleading." 
    She added, "Projects for paving and rehabilitating the streets of unserved neighborhoods in the first Al-Nasr neighborhood in the city of Samawah were referred for an amount of (709,303,7000) billion dinars, and the project for rehabilitating Al-Masbah Street linking Al-Shuhada Bridge and the Stadium Bridge at a cost of (525,663,8000) billion dinars, and a project for paving and rehabilitating the streets of the Umm Al-Khail area." In the city of Rumaitha, with an amount of (2903837000) two billion dinars, despite the failure of the two implementing companies to meet some of the required standards and conditions, according to instructions and standard documents, in clear and explicit violation of instructions for implementing government contracts.
