Today, Sunday, the Agricultural Cooperative Bank announced the granting of soft loans to support workers.
The bank’s media stated in a statement received by Al-Maalouma, that “in implementation of the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, aimed at supporting the segment of workers from the private sector covered by the (Social Security) law, and in light of enhancing the role of workers and improving their living conditions, it was decided to grant soft loans to support this segment.” .
He added, "The bank has developed a strategic plan and controls for granting loans not exceeding ten million dinars, with a competitive interest rate of 3% to support this important segment of society, and with a repayment period of five years," noting that "all commissions collected from the beneficiary will be reduced."
The Director General of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank directed, “All branches must pay attention and facilitate procedures in accordance with legal and administrative controls and work diligently to solve the obstacles facing this segment of the country’s people.” Ended/25
