    Shafaq News/ A document found by the Israeli army on a computer belonging to a Hamas official revealed the nature of its relationship with Iran and the “cover” used to train Hamas members to manufacture weapons in Iranian universities.

    The American CNN network reported that the document was obtained from a computer that was found inside a Hamas minivan outside Gaza, and the network viewed it through Israeli officials.

    The document includes a request from a Hamas military commander addressed to the Iranian authorities to provide a scholarship for movement activists to study engineering, physics, and technology in Iranian universities.

    While it is widely known that Iran provides financial and military support to Hamas, Israeli officials and some former US intelligence officials say the document is evidence that in the lead-up to the October 7 attack on southern Israel, Iran seeks to provide technical training that will help Hamas produce its own weapons.

    The Israeli government refused to comment on the document, although sources in the government confirmed its authenticity in the background.
