The Secretary-General of Bayraq Al-Khair, Muhammad Al-Khalidi, revealed the topics of a decisive meeting of Sunni forces to choose 23 names as an alternative to the sacked Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Al-Halbousi.

Al-Khalidi said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, “The main Sunni forces will hold an important meeting this evening in the capital, Baghdad, to decide the names of 3 alternative candidates for Al-Halbousi after the Federal Court’s decision to terminate his membership, which means that he lost the presidency of the House of Representatives.”
He added, "The Sunni forces agreed to put forward the names of one or two candidates, in addition to confirming their respect for the recent Federal Court decision regarding Al-Halbousi, noting that choosing a personality is not unique to the decision and is comprehensive."
He pointed out that "the Sunni forces are now dealing with the post-Halbousi stage because his return is impossible with the Federal Court's decision."
The Federal Court decided in the middle of last week to terminate Muhammad al-Halbousi’s membership in Parliament, which means that he lost the position of presidency of the Council. Ended 25 February
