    {International: Al Furat News} Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, announced the establishment of a $30 billion fund for climate solutions worldwide, which is designed to bridge the climate financing gap and facilitate access to it at an affordable cost.
    It aims to stimulate the collection and investment of $250 billion by 2030.
    The announcement came during the opening speech of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, during the “Global Climate Action Summit” held within the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) in Expo City Dubai.
    During his opening speech, he welcomed world leaders, heads of governments, delegations, and representatives of international organizations to the UAE and their participation in the World Climate Summit.
    He said: "Our meeting today comes at a time when the world is facing many challenges, the most important of which is climate change and its repercussions that affect all aspects of life."
    Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, confirmed that his country has invested $100 billion in financing climate action and renewable and clean energy, and is committed to investing an additional $130 billion over the next seven years.
    He also talked about the role of the founder of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who established among his people an original approach to preserving and preserving natural resources and ensuring their sustainability.

    Yesterday, Wednesday, in the presence of King Charles III of the United Kingdom, Bin Zayed witnessed the launch of the “Charity and Climate Forum”, which is being held within the activities of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) in Expo City Dubai.
    The forum aims to provide an opportunity for all parties and sectors to work together and contribute to collective efforts aimed at achieving global climate ambitions and sustainable development, in addition to linking companies, commercial and charitable institutions with the COP28 action plan to contribute to developing climate financing mechanisms and improving livelihoods while ensuring inclusion for all. In addition to enhancing the ability of the private sector and charitable and humanitarian work institutions to reach radical and effective results and solutions during “COP28”.
    More than a thousand business and philanthropic leaders from about 80 countries, along with policy makers, participate in the forum to ensure their participation and cooperation in finding tangible and effective solutions that achieve decisive results, while the forum hosts the COP28 Presidency and the Sustainable Markets Initiative.
