    Baghdad today - Baghdad 
    Today, Sunday (January 14, 2024), the head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Faleh Al-Fayyad, stressed the necessity of supporting the federal government’s directions to proceed with the removal of foreign forces from the country.
    The authority stated in a statement received by "Baghdad Today", that "the head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Faleh al-Fayyad, received today the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani."
    She added, "During the meeting, they discussed developments in the security situation in Iraq, as well as the necessity of coordinating and strengthening efforts to confront terrorist threats and the importance of maintaining stability in the country and enhancing security on the borders." 
    According to the statement, Al-Fayad stressed "the necessity of supporting the federal government's directions to proceed with the removal of foreign forces from the country and to work to achieve full sovereignty over the land and skies of Iraq."
