    Information / Baghdad..
The Parliamentary Integrity Committee confirmed, on Thursday, its continued prosecution of those accused of corruption cases, especially the theft of the century case, noting that the first accused of theft, Nour Zuhair, is at large and is carrying out his work to collect money to pay off his theft.

Committee member Bassem Khazal Khashan said, in an interview with the “Information” agency, “The Parliamentary Integrity Committee does not have sufficient information about the theft of the century file and is continuing to pursue those involved.”
He added, "The first accused of the theft of the century is at large despite being the most prominent person involved in the theft," wondering "why Nour Zuhair was allowed freedom of movement despite the allegations that he played a major role in the theft."
Khashan pointed out, “His committee is serious about activating the file of those wanted by the Iraqi judiciary who were involved in the theft and waste of state funds, or what is known as the theft of the century.”
The Iraqi judiciary had issued arrest warrants against four senior officials in the previous government, on charges of "facilitating the seizure" of $2.5 billion in public funds in one of the largest financial corruption scandals in the country. Ended / 25 h
