This Sunday evening, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani chaired the second meeting of the Supreme Committee for the Reconstruction of Nineveh to follow up on projects and make related decisions.
The Prime Minister’s Media Office said in a statement received by Mawazine News, “Al-Sudani chaired the second meeting of the Supreme Committee for the Reconstruction of Nineveh, during which the most important projects on the agenda of the meeting were discussed and followed up, and the relevant decisions were taken.”
He added, "The Prime Minister directed that the designs for the Old City riverfront project be presented to him for the purpose of proceeding with the project implementation procedures and taking into account the region's private properties, and authorizing the Ministry of Construction and Housing and public municipalities to direct invitations for the second section of the Mosul City Annual Road Project, which extends from the bridge." Sixth to Baghdad Road.
She pointed out that "the project to relieve traffic congestion in the city of Mosul was approved and the Ministry of Construction and Housing and public municipalities were authorized to send direct invitations to the relevant international companies. The committee also decided to establish the local administration stadium with all the sports facilities attached to it."
