[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / A delegation from the National Investment Authority, with the Iraqi Chargé d'Affairs in the Republic of India, Alaa Al-Obaidi, discussed investment opportunities and the possibility of developing economic relations between Baghdad and Delhi.
The delegation, headed by Hossam Hassoun Al-Rubaie, Director of the Office of the Chairman of the Authority, confirmed that “the Authority’s participation in the World Trade Fair, which was held in the state of Rajkot and in the presence of more than (50) Asian and African countries, created a positive impression among companies and foreign investors at the exhibition, that Iraq is serious about developing its relations.” economic and trade relations with various countries of the world, and that the Authority has developed plans to strengthen the elements of attracting foreign investments and investors.”
The delegation stated, "Iraq has many diverse investment opportunities in various industrial, agricultural, housing, and energy sectors, as well as support for Investment Law No. (13) of 2006 amending the investment process at the level of regulation, protecting investors' rights, and providing the necessary benefits and guarantees."
For her part, the Iraqi Chargé d'Affairs in the Republic of India, Alaa Al-Obaidi, explained, "The Iraqi Embassy in the city of Delhi welcomes the coordination of joint work between Iraqi and Indian institutions, extending an invitation to the Chairman of the National Investment Authority, Haider Muhammad Makkiya, to visit the Republic of India."/End H[/rtl]
