    BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The head of the republic Fuad Masum, during a meeting on Monday, Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi, who won the confidence of Parliament the day before yesterday, to develop a policy strategy for the security and defense means updating armament and revitalization of the training, noting the importance of air strikes carried out by the forces of the international coalition against what is known as organized Daash Almnslkh rule.
    According to a presidential statement that al-Obeidi infallible received at the Peace Palace in Baghdad this morning, noting that he congratulated him on his accession to office, pointing to "the importance of beginning a new era in the work of the ministry to keep up with the current sensitive situation faced by the country, which is facing the fiercest terrorist attack." 
    The President of the Republic, "the necessity of planning to develop a policy strategy for the security and defense, including attention to quality and modern weapons and activate the training aspect of the armed forces." 
    In another window explained President of the Republic, "the importance of air support provided by the International Alliance of Iraqi armed forces in the fight against gangs Daash and the need to take advantage of this support is precisely to preserve the lives of civilians," adding that Iraq does not need ground forces external because the army is capable of Musk Earth. 

    For his part, thanked President al-Obeidi, and congratulations on the guidance value, asserting that "the insistence on the revitalization of the work of the ministry and improve the performance of all the joints to blend in with the challenges of the current stage in the elimination of the threat of terrorism and permanently install the security and stability of the country."
