[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani arrived in Wasit Governorate and met with its governor, Muhammad Jamil Al-Mayahi, and members of the government and local departments in the governorate.
Abdul Ghani said, according to a statement by the ministry: “The governorate receives government attention and support. We are keen to communicate with the local government and the governor to advance the service situation and develop the oil industry.”
He added: “We are working to establish the Wasit Oil Company, and specialized companies have been invited to participate in investment opportunities to build the Wasit Investment Refinery. International companies have also been invited to develop 3 fields and an exploratory patch in the governorate within the fifth complementary oil licensing round.”/ End[/rtl]
