    Today, Saturday, the government media team announced the conversion of 5 million paper-issued health documents into electronic ones, while noting that (718) services were provided through the Ur electronic portal.
    The spokesman for the government media team, Haider Majeed, said, “E-governance is one of the government’s most important priorities in its program, and it receives great attention from Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani.”
    Majeed added that "the number of services provided by the Ur electronic portal for government services reached (718) services, including (347) electronic and (371) paper-based, while the number of registered citizens on the portal reached approximately three million citizens," indicating that "the services provided It includes all sectors that have direct contact with the lives of citizens.
    He stressed that "the National Data Center Department is working to establish links for services in coordination with all ministries, institutions, governorates and their operating departments."
    He pointed out that "the number of entities participating in the system for canceling the authentication of paper issuances reached (82) entities between a ministry, an authority, and a directorate, while the number of authentication documents of canceled paper issuances and their electronic transfer reached approximately 5 million documents," stressing that "work is continuing to include all institutions in the system, which It contributed greatly to bypassing bureaucracy, simplifying and accelerating procedures, and reducing the phenomenon of corruption and extortion.”
    He pointed out that "there is a guidance service to facilitate the use of the portal and overcome obstacles, by calling the toll-free line (5599) from nine in the morning until twelve at night, to inquire about all services and how to use them and to report cases of obstacles."
