    Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani announced today, Thursday, that the cost of wastewater projects within the Iraqi-Chinese agreement is more than one trillion dinars, while indicating that there is no lagging project in the current government’s dictionary.
    The Prime Minister said in his speech during the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for the strategic Al-Wahda district sewage project in Baghdad, and “Nakhla News” followed it: “The Al-Wahda district sewage project has been long awaited since 2012, as the district lacked services and our people suffered greatly from the services issue, especially in Baghdad.” And its parties,” noting that “the cost of wastewater projects within the Iraqi-Chinese agreement is more than one trillion dinars.”
    He added, "Companies have begun implementing these projects in 4 locations on the outskirts of Baghdad," noting that "sewage networks, drinking water, roads, schools, and electricity are basic infrastructure and components of development, and that the government's work on these projects has become a reality that citizens can touch, and there is no project in its dictionary." dilatory".
    He stated that "the implementation of these projects and the income of investors increases the added value of the national economy," pointing out that "services are among the pillars of stability and a demand for our people. There are peripheral areas that need a large amount of work, and these projects also need costs and oversight."
    He continued: "We expect the company that was chosen according to a mechanism based on its history and work to begin all components of the sewerage project in Al-Wahda district and within 24 working hours," stressing "the importance of high standards in the work."
    He stressed that "this path was taken by the government for the sake of services," calling on "Parliament to support these efforts in all governorates that lack most service projects."
    He called on citizens to "cooperate with the implementing companies and resident engineers for service projects and endure some of the inconveniences caused by excavations and dust in order to move to a better reality."
