    [size=45]The Ministry of Interior directed that the entire Arar border crossing be secured for the passage of pilgrims through it, stressing the provision of a safe atmosphere and adequate protection for convoys in all governorates, according to the timetable prepared for this purpose.[/size]

    In conjunction with the imminent start of the process of delegating pilgrims to the Holy Land, the Minister of Interior, Mr. Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, chaired a meeting that included the Chairman of the Hajj and Umrah Authority, Sheikh Sami Al-Masoudi, the Chief of Staff of the Joint Operations Command, the Undersecretaries of the Ministry, and a number of leaders and officers to discuss the plan to secure the protection of pilgrims.
