    Information/report
The topic of (Anbar, the source of Sunni decision-making), which Al-Halbousi had previously praised during his presidency of the House of Representatives, dissipated before his eyes after he was removed from the presidency of the House of Representatives.
In November of last year, the Federal Court decided to terminate the membership of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad al-Halbousi.
According to a court statement, “The decision was taken based on a lawsuit against Al-Halbousi this year.”

The sacked official was serving his second term as Speaker of Parliament, a position he held for the first time in 2018, and the highest a Sunni could hold.
It seems that the rest of the Sunni blocs sensed the danger of the Halbousian plan, which attempted to transfer Sunni decision-making to Anbar, which prompted them to strive hard to restrain this young man who attacked senior Sunni politicians, especially the moderate ones.
Al-Halbousi's plan does not fall outside the circle of extremism, through which he wanted to control the capabilities of the Sunni provinces and turn them into a tool to support him.
Indeed, many politicians spoke about the obscene singing that Al-Halbousi and those around him enjoyed overnight, as well as the cases of corruption committed by members of the Taqadum Party in Anbar Governorate, which Al-Halbousi arrests with an iron fist.
After the dismissal of Al-Halbousi from Parliament, a Sunni crisis erupted between the blocs, which believe that the position of Speaker of Parliament is the position of the constituent, not Al-Halbousi, in contrast to Al-Halbousi, who wants to revolve in his orbit through a candidate he presents.
Al-Halbousi did not find anyone better than Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, who has experience in Parliament, to be his candidate for this position, and he prevented Salem Al-Issawi, who defected from him, from reaching this position.
The leader of the United Anbar Alliance, Muhammad Dahham, revealed the real reasons behind the support of the dismissed Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, for a candidate from outside Anbar Governorate to head the House of Representatives.
Dahham told Al-Maalouma, “Al-Halbousi supported Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani in order to serve his interests and the interests of his party, and not because he was better than Salem Al-Issawi.”
He added, "Halbousi supported a figure from outside Anbar, to maintain his image as a leader in the province."
As for the position of the Shiites, the largest component, it has remained neutral in this crisis, and is only concerned with the Sunni agreement and presenting a candidate for the presidency of the House of Representatives, whatever it may be, on the condition that it is a non-controversial candidate.
But it seems that the majority of the components support Al-Mashhadani’s nomination for this position, due to their experience with him, which was satisfactory to say the least.

This was explained by the leader of the State of Law coalition, Haider Al-Lami, who confirmed that all the forces of the coordination framework were not the obstructing party to resolve the passage of Al-Halbousi’s replacement during the contest period.
Al-Lami told Al-Maalouma, “The initial decision of Al-Maliki’s coalition in the vote will go to the candidate Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani,” pointing out that “the rejection of the former Taqaddam Party candidate, Shaalan Al-Karim, occurred as a result of his association with terrorism and the defunct Baathist regime.” End 25 n.
