    [size=45]The Parliamentary Integrity Committee announced on Monday that the results of the investigation into the financial and administrative corruption files at the Ministry of Interior will be presented to public opinion within 30 days.[/size]
    [size=45]The committee said in a statement, “The Parliamentary Integrity Committee in the House of Representatives, headed by Representative Ziad Al-Janabi, and members of the committee continue to investigate many important files in the Ministry of Interior during its previous and current era, around which there are suspicions of financial and administrative corruption, in preparation for resolving them within 30 days.”[/size]
    [size=45]The statement added, “The committee is focusing on investigating indicators and suspicions of corruption in the work of the Police Martyrs’ Fund and the violations recorded in contracts belonging to the Ministry of Interior for various directorates, as well as following up on the investigation into all contracts concluded in the previous and current stage related to the Martyrs’ Fund, as well as auditing the specifications approved in the contracts and letters of guarantee.” .[/size]

The committee will also follow up in its investigations the criteria for selecting positions in the ministry and their suitability to the required controls in accordance with professional standards and efficiency in selecting those responsible for those various responsibilities in the important aspects of the ministry.” “.[/size]
    [size=45]The committee noted in its statement that it “requested the Ministry of the Interior to provide it with all the details related to contracts for cars, equipment, public traffic, and the Police Martyrs’ Fund for the purpose of including them in the report on the investigation of the work of the Ministry and within the committee’s approved work strategy to achieve its goals in promoting the values ​​of integrity and transparency and reducing the waste of public money in a way that achieves Applying law and justice to all institutions of the Iraqi state.”[/size]
    [size=45]The statement continued, “The Integrity Committee decided to inform public opinion of the results of the investigations that took place and are being conducted in an impartial and professional manner,” warning against “any attempt at procrastination, procrastination, and concealment of information by the Ministry of Interior, as this is a crime according to the applicable Iraqi law.”[/size]
