    The Parliamentary Integrity Committee set a date on Saturday to submit a law to abolish the offices of general inspectors to vote in the House of Representatives.
    Committee member Alia Nassif said in a statement to Al-Maalouma that Saturday's session next week will be devoted to voting on the abolition of the offices of the general inspectors.
    She added that "some general inspectors are exerting great pressure towards political blocs and the presidency of parliament to prevent the vote on the law, but that pressure will fail after the House of Representatives vote next Saturday," noting that "the functions of the offices of inspectors will be referred to the Integrity Commission."
    The Committee on the Integrity of Parliament, on Saturday, the House of Representatives intent to end the work of the offices of general inspectors in all departments of the state for the futility of their presence, indicating that government statistics indicate that the rate of completion does not exceed 2 percent.
