Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein denied the validity of what was reported regarding his health condition and his resignation, saying: “I am not sick, and I did not submit my resignation.”
Fouad Hussein confirmed in an interview followed by Mawazine News that he will soon return to performing his work duties.
Media outlets and pages on social media platforms in Iraq claimed that the Iraqi Foreign Minister was suffering from cancer.
His wife died early this month, and on April 7, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs offered him condolences and sympathy on her death.
