The head of the New Generation Bloc in the House of Representatives, Sarwa Abdel Wahed, explained today, Wednesday, that there is no such thing in the region as a dispute over holding elections on the tenth of next June.
Abdel Wahed said in a tweet on social media, followed by Mawazine News, that the United Nations and the international community support holding the elections, so it is not reasonable for them to be in favor of not holding them.
She indicated that the large and small Kurdish parties, individuals, citizens, “the nation and the entire world” are ready, and have submitted lists of candidates, and the Commission is making preparations and does not have any problems.
Abdul Wahed concluded her statement, saying: Only one party does not want elections, and there is general dissatisfaction with making these unilateral decisions and unilaterally making a fateful decision related to the Kurdish people.
