    [size=45]The Iraqi Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Safia Al-Suhail, supervised the signing of a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in the field of anti-corruption between the head of the Integrity Commission, Haider Hanoun, and his Saudi counterpart, Mazen bin Ibrahim Al-Kahmous.[/size]

    The memorandum stipulates the exchange of information related to corruption crimes in terms of seizure, investigation, asset tracking and recovery.[/size]
    [size=45]The Federal Integrity Commission and the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia concluded a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in the field of preventing and combating corruption, and to develop and enhance the institutional capacity of both parties.[/size]
    [size=45]The memorandum of understanding, which was signed on the Iraqi side by the head of the Federal Integrity Commission, Judge Haider Hanoun, and on the Saudi side by the head of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Commission, Mr. Mazen bin Ibrahim Al-Kahmous, aims to exchange experiences and best practices related to combating corruption, and exchange information related to corruption crimes. In terms of seizure, investigation, asset tracking and recovery, as well as working to exchange information related to criminal methods and activities that lead to corruption and ways to prevent them, in addition to consulting on legal issues during the preparation and study of requests for legal assistance in criminal cases related to corruption crimes and assistance in law enforcement aspects in this regard. .[/size]
    [size=45]The memorandum also included holding training courses, seminars, conferences, and working sessions, and exchanging experiences and information related to technical cooperation programs in the fields of financial auditing, investigation, prosecution, e-government, administrative oversight, and media awareness, according to the capabilities available to each party.[/size]
    [size=45]The memorandum of understanding comes: Recognizing by both parties the importance of strengthening and developing aspects of cooperation between them in the field of combating corruption, and seeking to enhance international cooperation referred to in Article (48) of the United Nations Convention against Corruption, which encourages states parties to consider concluding bilateral and multilateral agreements regarding direct cooperation between their agencies. concerned with law enforcement, and their desire to establish and strengthen international cooperation between them in preventing and combating it in accordance with the regulations and laws in force in the two countries.[/size]
