    [rtl] The Turkish Statistics Authority announced today, Saturday, that Iraqis ranked seventh among the countries that purchased Turkish real estate during last April.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The authority said in a report that home sales to foreigners decreased by 50.3% in April compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 1,272, and the share of home sales to foreigners out of total home sales in April was 1.7%, adding that the governorates that had the largest number of home sales were For foreigners, they are Antalya with 454, Istanbul with 407, and Mersin with 149, respectively.[/rtl]
    [rtl]She pointed out that "the Russians topped the rest of the countries in buying the most real estate in Turkey during February, with 293 houses, and the Iranians came in second place, buying 117 houses, followed by Ukraine, third, with 91 houses, followed by Germany, in fourth place, with 70 houses, followed by Kazakhstan, in fifth place, with 57 houses." Azerbaijan came in sixth place with 54 houses, and Iraq came seventh with 42 houses.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Iraqis have always topped the world's list of home buyers in Turkey since 2015, but their ranking fell to second place after Iran at the beginning of 2021, before falling to third place since April 2022 after Russian domination of Turkish real estate.[/rtl]
