Iraqis rank third in buying real estate in Turkey

Shafaq News/ The Turkish Statistics Authority announced, on Tuesday, that the Iraqis ranked third among the people who bought real estate in Turkey during last December.
In a report seen by Shafaq News agency, the authority said, "Home sales in Turkey to foreigners decreased by 18.6% in December 2022 compared to the same month of the previous year, and became 6,386 homes. Antalya ranked first with 2,465 homes, and Istanbul came in The second place came with sales of 1,968 homes, then Mersin with 663 homes.
And she added, "Turkey sold during the year 2022 of the current year 67,490 homes to foreigners, with an increase of 15.2% over the same period of the previous year."
The commission also indicated that "the Russians topped the rest of the countries in the most purchase of real estate in Turkey during December, with the number of two thousand and 403 homes." The Iranians came in second place, with 675 homes, the Iraqis third, with 435 homes, Ukraine fourth, with 306 homes, and Kazakhstan fifth. And the number of 266 houses.
Iraqis have topped the list of buying homes in Turkey since 2015, but their ranking fell to second place after Iran at the beginning of the year 2021, before falling to third place since last April after Russian domination of Turkish real estate.
