Hassan told Al-Maalouma, “The Turkish incursions and violations have not stopped in northern Iraq, as Turkish forces continue to control certain areas under the pretext of fighting the Kurdistan Workers’ Party.”
He added, "Turkey can resolve the conflict with the aforementioned party through dialogue, understanding, and negotiations, and by stopping the military actions that destabilize security and stability in the north of the country, instead of continuing the bloodshed."
He stated that "Turkey is present in northern Iraq under the pretext of fighting the Workers' Party, but the truth is that it exists in order to achieve its interests and obtain the wealth present in those areas, and imposes control over military bases in Mosul, especially in the Bashiqa region, despite the absence of members of the aforementioned party in that region."
