[size=45]Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Qubad Talabani, announced that the problem of delaying the payment of employee salaries will end in the near future, stressing that during the recent Council of Ministers meeting of the region, emphasis was placed on accelerating the pace of preparing and sending employee salary lists.[/size]
[size=45]Talabani said during a press conference held in Chamchamal district in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, during a field visit to inspect service projects in the region: “We are awaiting the results of the audit of the Iraqi Financial Control Commission, after which the salaries for the month of May will be distributed to the security forces and Peshmerga immediately after the completion of the audit process.”[/size]
[size=45]He added, "This problem will end in the coming months and the salaries of the security forces will be distributed on time."[/size]
[size=45]Talabani confirmed; “The regional government is making unremitting efforts to end the problem of delaying the salaries of Kurdistan employees, as the region has implemented all the demands of the federal government in this regard, and we are trying not to leave any loophole that affects the sending of salaries.”[/size]
