Parliamentary Finance: The government is able to solve the problem of the region’s salaries

The Parliamentary Finance Committee clarified that last year’s budget was clear about the region’s share and the salaries of its employees, indicating that the federal government will resolve the issue of the region’s salaries and will take appropriate legal measures in this regard.
The committee member, Faisal Al-Naili, said in an interview with “Al-Sabah” that “the 2023 budget was clear about the financial allocations to the region and the salaries of its employees, that is, in the event of delay and the region does not pay salaries or the financial allocations allocated to the budget of its governorates, the governorate has the right to demand the federal government directly.” Officially, their entitlements are deducted from the financial allocations and paid directly to them.
