The Ministry of Trade announced, today, Sunday, the launch of the electronic payment service (online) for fees for granting import licenses and export IDs.
A statement by the ministry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Trade, Athir Dawood Al-Ghariri, the General Company for Iraqi Exhibitions has made great strides in automating all commercial transactions in line with the paragraphs of the government program to simplify the procedures for granting export and import licenses and IDs," noting that "during the update of the import and export work system, an interface for electronic payment (payment) (on line) was created."
The statement pointed out that "importers and exporters can access the system and benefit from this simplified and advanced electronic service."[/size]
