    The group is known to be affiliated with the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence, according to the analysis.
     
    The hackers were able to carry out their attacks by using channels that hacked into victims' emails within the targeted organizations, with analysis indicating that the hackers lured their victims into opening malicious files sent to them as document attachments.
