The Iraqi Resistance Coordination Committee said that America is “not sincere” in withdrawing from Iraq.
The Authority stated in a statement that “the issue of the withdrawal of all foreign forces from Iraq - including the American ones - is one of the most important goals that the Coordination Authority of the Iraqi Resistance has set its sights on, and its men have made sacrifices and lives in redemption and sacrifice for the sovereignty of our state and the dignity of our people.”
She added, "While we welcome the efforts made by the esteemed Iraqi government to expel the so-called (international coalition forces) from the country, we believe that the American side is not honest, and that it is trying to delay the issue, to gain time."
The Authority stressed in its statement that the agreement to be concluded must explicitly include three basic points.
She explained that the first point is: “The exit must be comprehensive and according to a clear and agreed upon timetable.”
As for the second point, according to the statement, “their operations - which they want to carry out inside Syrian territory from Iraqi territory - should not be in violation of the Iraqi constitution and the good neighborly relationship between the Iraqi and Syrian states.”
The third point mentioned in the statement was: “Not granting immunity to foreign military forces, whatever their names.”
The Authority stressed that “otherwise, we are not concerned with any agreement that does not include what was mentioned above.”
