[rtl]Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Finance issued a directive to withdraw the hand of the Director General of the General Tax Authority.[/rtl]
[rtl]A statement by the ministry - received by "Al-Eqtisad News" - stated that "based on the Minister of Finance's directive to form an urgent investigative committee against the Director General of the General Tax Authority and based on the text of Articles (17, First and 18) of the State and Public Sector Employees Discipline Law No. 14 of 1991."[/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "It was decided to suspend the Director General of the General Tax Authority, Ali Waad Allawi, for a period of 60 days until the completion of the legal and investigative procedures against him."[/rtl]
