Shati said "We visited one of the detention centers in the Amiriyah Fallujah, and we found 700 prisoners have been detained for several months on suspicion of terrorism."
He added, " The conditions of detention constitute abig shock, where each one of them does not exceed an area of square meters, and there is no space even to lie down."
He continued , "Also , the bathrooms in the rooms themselves, in addition to the amount of food is very low , " adding that " thesituation in general is very shocking."
In turn, Donetila Rover adviser crises affairs of the organization, said that " the center run by the counter - terrorism force, and they have only four investigators are working to address the issues."
Amiriyah Fallujah is located in Anbar province, where Iraqi forces are fighting to expel the organization Daash, and pushed battles large numbers of civilians to flee, while security forces arrested dozens of men suspected of links to terrorism.
Shati said " the authorities have not officially been charged for any of the detainees, because the local authorities do not havethe capacity to investigate their cases."
"Even the local authorities say he has no knowledge about how to access these to these prisons, also believes that the majorityof them are innocent."
