    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliya Nusaiyf, of the Hurra Iraqiya bloc called the Legislative Authority not to endorse the Reconsidering Borders law draft because the Kurds consider it as a replacement to Article 140 of the constitution.
    In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, she said ” The Legislative Authority must not exceed the national lines of the legal centers of the provinces while dealing with the suggestion submitted by the President, Jalal Talabani where it disturb the political situation and result in a new crisis.”
    “Unfortunately some Kurdish sides consider this law as a replacement to the ineffective Article 140 of the constitution where the whole idea of reconsidering the borders in a violation to the constitution,” she concluded.

    doubtful yet it's an interesting notion of the Kurds trying to carve out a solution from another angle....I tip my hat to the Kurds and all those attempting to solve this lingering nonsense.
