    Census Directorate in the province of Dhi Qar announced directly ten teams to clear food security in the ten administrative units in thegovernorate. And as pointed out that theprocess include the 2500 family, confirmed that the survey aims to identify the poorest preservation areas. 
     The census director of Dhi Qar Abbas David Hnata, in an interview with (long - Presse), said that " thedepartments of Statistics ( NBS ) and the health of Dhi Qar currently are conducting food security survey and the fragility of the family through ten teams divided into ten administrative units in the province. " 
    He added Hnata that" the scanning process which takes two weeks include 2500 families , "adding that" thesurvey acts taking place within the program implemented by the Chambers of Statistics and Health withsupport from the UN World food Organization ". Hnata He continued that " the task of the difference is to visit families surveyed to find out the possibility that the family in the provision of food to its members as a representative of Health examined and weight of children the family under the age of five years , " pointing out that " the survey process includes measuring the perimeter of the arms of pregnant mothers and infants to see how gastric or not malnourished as well as measuring the ratios of iodine in the sources of family nutrition. " 
    He continued census director of Dhi Qar that" the results of the survey identifies poor families focus areas for the purpose of adoption within the data used in the development of plans and future programs by theauthorities concerned in this regard the base. " 
     the Ministry of planning and Development cooperation, announced on food security report and living conditions in Iraq for a year (2011), which was prepared in collaboration with the United Nations in the (3 January 2012), stating that the million and 900,000 people suffering from food deprivation in Iraq. 
    indicates the report that the bulk of this category over (and guestrooms 500) thousand people live in theprovince of Basra , followed by second place Baghdad and by 350 thousand people , followed by Dhi Qar ,and increased by 312 thousand people, while the ministry 's statistics showed that the poverty rate in Iraq was (23%) are concentrated in the southern provinces, Mosul because of the 
    security to be placed.
