Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The former Speaker, Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, warned from suspicious projects that aim at provoking sectarian war in Iraq to divide it into smaller states.
He stated to IraqiNews.com “After the terrorist attacks of last Monday, the ghost of the sectarian war started to appear again so all sides must be careful of such foreign plots.”
“All sides must do their best to avoid the negative consequence of these attacks,” he added.
He called “All the politicians to neglect the foreign plots to promote the national interests.”
“The current stage is the most difficult in the history of establishing the Iraq State due to the multiple crises,” he concluded.
Baghdad witnessed series of 13 car bombings killing and injuring 226 citizens on last Monday evening.
