The Chairman of the Committee flower Hamza Albjara in a press statement received (Il Giornale) a copy of it, that "the Council voted during a session held at its headquarters on the allocation of $ 99 million for the Directorate of municipalities for the purchase of asphalt for use in paving the streets in hand Hartha," indicating that "the Council also voted during the meeting to allocate $ 98 million for the purchase of asphalt for paving streets in the district of Al-Zubair."
She added that "the Board directed the municipal directorate to prepare statements for the implementation of the campaign for paving and patching a number of streets within the city of Basra (the county)," adding that "the central government when it decided a few months ago to stop the implementation of projects in Basra forced the provincial council to allocate funds for community service for the purpose of projects and service work, including paving and patching streets and roads, with the aim of improving the service situation. "
