    The text of the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Convention on the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972 voted by the Board of Representatives to approve the Sunday session law. 

    Based on what passed the House of Representatives and approved by the President of the Republic and according to the provisions of subsection [first] article [61] and item [III] of Article 73 of the Constitution , 
    issued the following law: 

    No. [] to the 2015 
    accession of the Republic of Iraq to the international regulations Convention on the Law for preventing collisions at Sea, 1972 
    Article 1 joins the Republic of Iraq to the international regulations for preventing collisions at Sea, 1972 and which entered into force in 1977 agreement.

    Article 2 of this law from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette performs the 
    reasons.

    In order to join the Republic of Iraq to the international regulations Convention for the Prevention of Collisions at Sea, 1972 and aimed at averting a maritime collision between vessels of various kinds when it was traveling on the high seas and in the water related through the development of international regulations and technical measures, procedures and preventive prior prevent the occurrence of such a collision.
