    Peasant associations called for the General Union in Babylon, yesterday, to the launch of dues of farmers for wheat crop for 2015 and 2016, stressing that 50% of farmers in the province have not received their entitlements. 
    The federal government carries full responsibility, has threatened a large demonstration to demand the benefits of farmers lagging, confirming their inability to market their crops due to flood the local market products 
    imported. 
    The estimated government debt to farmers by about 5 trillion dinars, are late benefits two years ago. The Ministry of Agriculture announced the launch of the financial dues of farmers and farmers for 2016 
    and warned of the Agriculture Committee in Parliament recently, insufficient stocks of wheat in the Ministry of Commerce of the current 2017 due to falling domestic production, while attributed this to "neglect" the peasantry and delay financial dues Exchange, called Union farm associations to justice for peasants and giving them their rights.

"

     that." 
    He said the President of the Farmers Union said , "all the time telling us that the benefits exist and will be handed over to the peasants, but words without implementation," he said . "Enough is enough , because marketers peasants are now in a major financial crisis as a result they take agricultural materials, such as fertilizer and seeds of Chemical and materials farm Bureau to meet with receipts , "he said , adding that" the agricultural office owners now demanding the peasants to pay the required amounts. " 
    Adnan al - Mutashar "Today we demand the presidencies of the Republic and the Cabinet and Parliament, to work for the release of funds and dues of farmers, and if the delay time of its launch, will federation farm associations in each province large demonstrations over the next week," adding , " It was agreed that the last meeting of the unions farm associations in Iraq and the right of our rights. " 
    The Chairman of the Union of peasants that "during the current season for the cultivation of wheat, the back of a large reluctance of farmers and by as much as between 30% and 40% , " attributing it to "non - payment of previous dues and that they do not buy seeds, fertilizers and materials of Chemical." 
     For his part , Moussa said Kata, secretary of the Federation of farm associations - a branch of Babylon (range), "The Babylon agricultural province with distinction and is considered the food basket for Iraq to what is available from the agricultural land and water watering and peasants." 
    Moussa added , "There are no any protection for agricultural products by the state, and the farmer now, suffers from a major problem is its inability to market the production of the large number of imported agricultural products." 
    Union official and saw that "there Chkhosa in the state is not working for the local agricultural product protection and favors the trend to import from abroad , " he said , adding that " the farmer is unable to crop marketing in Allawi vegetables because they are piling up there due to the competition of cheap imported crops price", warning that " it will lead to a real agricultural disaster and will lead to the reluctance of farmers for agriculture. "
