issued in the Court of Cassation , Egypt, on Thursday, a final ruling acquitted former President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak of the charge of "participation" of killing demonstrators during the first days of the revolution of January 25 / December second , 2011, that toppled his regime.
Mubarak attended the trial, today, accompanied by his two sons, Gamal and Alaa, after the approval of the Court of Cassation (the highest body of appeals) on their own attendance permit.
The judgment issued today, is final and not subject to appeal it.
Referred to the Cairo Criminal Court was punished Mubarak in June 2012 to life imprisonment (25 years) after being convicted on charges of "participation" in the killing of 239 demonstrators.
But it has been challenged on the judgment, the Court of Cassation ordered a retrial was most recently twice today to deliver its verdict of acquittal.
The Ministry of Justice Egypt has agreed to move the trial of Mubarak headquarters of the Court of Cassation from the center of Cairo, to the headquarters of the Police Academy, east of the capital, for the first time in its history; for "Unable to move the former president," according to a judicial source, which has responded Court of Cassation.
