    The search parties, according to the statement, "opening prospects for cooperation in the field of oil refining, energy, and the reconstruction of liberated areas of Daesh and encourage investment and the work of Saudi companies within Iraq as well as finding security coordination in the field of intelligence and information exchange."
    The Foreign statement to "emphasize the cooperation between the two countries in all international and regional organizations and the need to stop the character inflammatory official statements and work to achieve high - level mutual visits."
    Furthermore, he stressed Nizar Algirallh, Undersecretary of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, in a press statement, " The talks were very frank, we tried to find the best mechanisms for the development of these relations."
    He Algirallh that "communication is currently focusing on building confidence, and this requires practical measures, no doubt that the exchange of visits will have a significant role to play in creating a direct dialogue, mutual trust between the two countries, and mechanisms for cooperation."
    With regard to the terrorism issue, he confirmed the Iraqi official "need for the two countries to the intelligence to combat terrorist organizations security cooperation , " pointing out that "between Iraq and Saudi Arabia , a border strip long, needs to be accompanied by understandings going on , and to find mechanisms of action and common vision."
    In the context of Iraq 's relations with Arab countries, Foreign Minister Ibrahim al - Jaafari received from his Syrian counterpart Walid al- Moualem invitation to visit Damascus.
    Jaafari called on Arab countries, on the sidelines of the Arab League foreign ministers ' meeting, to review the earlier decision to prevent Syria from participating Arab League activities.
    A statement by the Iraqi foreign minister , received a (long) version of it, that " the Minister Ibrahim al - Jaafari, received a phone call from Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al- Moallem , who came in turn thanking and appreciation of his country 's brave position put Iraq at the ministerial meeting of the Arab League in Cairo."
    The face of Walid al- Moallem, according to the statement, " an official invitation to Jaafari to visit Damascus soon; to discuss further prospects of joint cooperation and strengthen relations in various levels."
    The two sides also touched on " the terrorist bombing of the small door area in central Damascus, and killed a number of Iraqi visitors, the two sides also discussed the importance of further efforts, and security coordination to counter terrorism, and discussed the key issues of interest to Baghdad and Damascus."
