State Department congratulates Iraq on the occasion of Norouz holidays

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Monday congratulated Iraq on the occasion of the Norouz holiday, hoping the holiday would be happy and prosperous.
"I hope that Noorouz Day will be a happy and prosperous holiday for all those who celebrate this ancient tradition around the world, which marks the beginning of spring and the beginning of the new year," Tillerson said in a statement read by Mawazine News.
"Today, many Americans join this celebration and share a new generation of ancient traditions and inherit from their ancestors," the statement said. "We look forward to celebrating together this new spring and hope to bring peace and prosperity for all."
Norouz is looking forward to next year with hope and optimism
