The arrival of the first batch of Korean (T50) aircraft to Iraq
The Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday the delivery of the first batch of Korean T50 aircraft to Iraq, adding that it "arrived at the Shuaiba air base with its technical equipment and supplies of its own weapons."
"The new aircraft are part of the contract between Iraq and South Korea to be included in the Iraqi combat aircraft squadron to speed up the liberation of the rest of Iraq from the hands of gangs," it said in a statement. "By completing the training of pilots and technicians on this new type of aircraft, they are ready to participate in the performance of the functions of the Iraqi Air Force." AH
