    Two sources in the Egyptian Ministry of Finance said on Thursday that the government is considering increasing the ration cards directed to the support of about 29 percent to 27 pounds ($ 1.5) per month in the next fiscal year budget for 2017-2018 to mitigate the effects of economic reform on the low-income program.

    A senior official at the Ministry of Finance: "already studying an increase directed to the individual in the ration card in the next fiscal year budget to 27 pounds of support to mitigate the effects of the economic reform program on low-income people."
