Foreign Ministry: Iraq will follow all legal and diplomatic methods to condemn the Turkish aggression

The Iraqi Foreign Ministry expressed its rejection and denunciation of the Turkish military attack on the region of Jabal Sinjar in northern Iraq.
"The Turkish military attack on Sinjar is a flagrant violation of international conventions and treaties and the principles of good neighborliness," ministry spokesman Ahmed Jamal said in a statement received by the agency All Iraq.
"The ministry confirms that this act, which represented an infringement on Iraqi sovereignty, reflects a policy that can not be accepted or tolerated. We therefore call upon the international community to take a firm and decisive stance towards it," he said.
"Iraq will follow all legal, diplomatic and other methods to condemn this aggression and ensure that it is not repeated," he said.
