    National Union launches its quarterly report on press freedom

     Baghdad / term

    Launches National Union for Iraqi journalists on Wednesday its quarterly report on the reality of press freedom in Iraq, which will include statistics the violations suffered by Iraqi journalists since the first of January 2017 until the first of May.
    The union will hold a press conference on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day , which falls on the third of May in the Organization of the Tower of Babel headquarters in Baghdad in the fifth on Wednesday afternoon.
    The union will be discussed with a group of journalists , the challenges that accompanied the work of Iraqi journalists and the abuses
    they have suffered.
    And it will include a report prepared by the Monitoring Unit in the union most important obstacles and difficulties faced by Iraqi journalists in the past four months, and interviews with journalists were assaulted by official forces
    and informal.
