US Ambassador: Abadi is committed to bringing our companies into Iraq and we will press for reforms

The US ambassador to Iraq, Douglas Seelman, said Prime Minister Haider Abadi is committed to bringing more US companies to do business in Iraq.
This came during a meeting between the ambassador and members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Baghdad during their annual meeting at the embassy.
"Now is the best time in years to press for reforms and look for opportunities in Iraq," he said.
"US companies have a lot to offer Iraq, and demand is increasing for US companies, and we are here to help boost trade relations in the Iraqi market," he said.
