    It discussed the province of Baghdad with the General Directorate of Traffic to take measures to lift the traffic jams in the streets of the capital.
    He said a press statement that the governor discussed with Atwan Atwani General Traffic Director General Amer al - Azzawi ways to decipher traffic jams in the capital and the mechanism used by the departments of traffic in the completion of transactions of the citizens and the possibility of providing the necessary support to resolve any obstacles facing its work.
    He added that during the meeting Atwani stressed the importance of developing appropriate solutions to contribute to unzip the traffic jams in the streets of the capital , which had exhausted the citizen through coordination between the Directorate of Traffic and Baghdad Operations Command to open new ways to facilitate the smooth flow of the movement of the wheels.
    The governor pointed to the significant role and effort by the departments of traffic and its role in facilitating traffic, and ensure that the meeting also provide a detailed explanation on the mechanism used at the General Directorate of Traffic in the completion of transactions of the citizens and the treatment of congestion occurring in the capital.
    He expressed his readiness to support the Governor of the General Directorate of Traffic and all Mlakatha and make everything possible for the device for the passage of all the formations and the directorates of the Ministry of Interior to seek local government in Baghdad to achieve better service to citizens.
    The Baghdad Operations Command has over the past few time to raise dozens of security checkpoints from the streets in the Karkh and Rusafa and thousands of concrete blocks are also contributing to the support of decoding those Zhamat and stabilize the situation in the capital 's efforts.
