The next round of talks in Astana on Syria postponed

Kazakh Foreign Affairs announced the postponement of the meeting on Syria in Astana, which was scheduled for next week, confirming the continuation of the guarantor States consultations on the application of the previous round agreements.
Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan on behalf of Anwar Jainakuv said that Russia, Turkey and Iran Astana informed that these countries experts will continue to hold business meetings in their respective capitals in the coming days and weeks, to coordinate the issues related to the application for the establishment of four zones of agreements to ease the tension in Syria, as well as other issues to strengthen the system cease-fire.
The official noted that the announcement of the date of the next meeting and its level and its agenda will be later.
It was expected that the new round of talks taking place in Astana, the 12th and 13th of this month, having reached Almichoron in the previous round early last month an agreement on the establishment of easing tension zones in Syria.
It was Tariq al-Ahmad, a member of the Damascus platform Syrian opposition, he expressed in an interview with the agency "Sputnik" last Monday expressed fears that the Astana consultations negatively affected by the recent developments in the Gulf crisis.
He said al-Ahmad, two of the guarantor powers of the ceasefire in Syria, namely Turkey and Iran, has supported the Qatar in the current diplomatic dispute, and thus Stjaddan themselves in the face of Saudi Arabia and Egypt, which will be held up in front of the new round of talks in Astana, according to the Syrian political.
