The Kurdistan Regional Presidency confirmed on Sunday that it will soon issue a regional order to set the first session of the sixth term of the regional parliament.
The official spokesman for the Kurdistan Regional Presidency, Dilshad Shahab, said in a statement: "The results of the Kurdistan Parliament elections have been approved by the Board of Commissioners of the Independent High Electoral Commission."
He added that "according to the law of the presidency of the region, a regional order will be issued by the President of the region in the near future to set the first session of the sixth term of the Kurdistan Parliament."
The Independent High Electoral Commission approved the results of the Kurdistan Regional Parliament elections on Sunday.
